Our original focus was to provide a directory of services; thus the domain name outdoorsdirectory.com Since we began in October, 1996, our focus has expanded to providing information about all aspects of hunting and fishing, and increasingly other outdoor activities as well. Today, you will find general information about hunting and fishing, 30+ super-active forums, a magazine of outdoors articles, a directory of outdoors service providers, information about hunting and fishing areas, and a constantly growing store with many Alaska outdoors, Alaskana and Alaska books, videos and more. Most recently we have added a section designed to capture news and other breaking information about Alaska hunting and fishing. In the fishing section, you will find considerable general information to get you started. Our areas pages, will provide additional information. Follow the various links to find out more about the fish you want to pursue. The forum is busy and you will often find answers to your questions.
